The request Fatos Nano has submitted to assume the functions of chairman of a parliamentary commission on the Stability Pact once again demonstrates the PS leader’s determination to sabotage the Albanian factor in the Balkans as much as possible. Fatos Nano’s CV is not only unconvincing for such representation from Tirana, but his appointment at the head of this commission would also raise many questions about Albania’s productive cooperation with other countries on page 5

Today, 446 days since the murder of the December Leader Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and his successor in the crime that shook the entire Albanian world. The governments of the former communists, which leave free and unpunished [sic] those who took the life of the December Leader, show Albanians that they have been and remain on the side of the murderers, who have names and identities but are untouchable by those in power. Democrats and all Albanians who loved and honored Azem Hajdari can in no way tolerate this. The government must either immediately bring the criminals before justice, or publicly declare that it itself committed the murder of Azem Hajdari.
