It should have condemned the murder of Azem Hajdari. The highest institution of the Republic, Prime Minister Ilir Meta or one of the highest representatives of the government should have testified at yesterday morning’s session that this was a condemnable act. But the government not only remained silent about this crime, it also insisted on defending its perpetrators. This happened after yesterday the Legality Movement and the entire opposition spectrum held a protest rally in the center of Tiranë. During the rally, some opposition leaders accused the government and former Prime Minister Pandeli Majko of being involved in defending the killers.
