State killers

editorial The darkest segments of the government have for several days been engaged in a brutal campaign against the Democratic Party and its leader Sali Berisha, which is above all a campaign to bury the truth of the “murder of the century” for Albanians. It is not so important here that a newspaper can be found willing to publish the statements of some thugs, who have been seized by panic and are trying to find an alibi to deny their involvement in the murder of Azem Hajdari, as it is to note that behind these facts an entire system of disinformation is operating to keep the perpetrators and organizers of the 12 April crime hidden. If it were not Nikollë Lesi's newspaper, which has always collected the filth from society's sewers since the very first day of its existence, someone else would have been found to publish them, whether by order or of their own free will; that does not matter much. In every era, a few paid mercenaries or political criminals such as Spartak Braho and Maksim Hasani can be found, who will be first-class citizens in this country as long as this mafia regime remains in power.

The government protects Azem Hajdari’s killers

Today, 457 days since the murder of the December Leader Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and his successor in the crime that shook the entire Albanian world. The governments of the former communists, who are free and untroubled by the criminals who took the life of the December Leader, show Albanians that they were and are on the side of the killers, whose identities are known, but who remain untouched by those in power. Democrats and all Albanians who loved and honored Azem Hajdari cannot tolerate this fact under any circumstances. The government must either hand over the criminals and bring them to justice, or publicly declare that it itself committed the murder of Azem Hajdari.
