The government protects Azem Hajdari’s killers
Today, 365 days since the murder of the December Leader
Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and his successor in the crime that shocked the entire Albanian world.
The governments of the former communists, which left the criminals who took the December Leader’s life free and undisturbed, show Albanians that they have been and remain on the side of the killers, who have names of their own but are untouched by those in power. Democrats and all the Albanians who loved and honored Azem Hajdari cannot tolerate this fact under any circumstances. The government must either capture the criminals and bring them to justice, or publicly declare that it itself committed the murder of Azem Hajdari.

Leader, the hero of Albanian political pluralism, MP Azem Hajdari was shot dead in front of the headquarters of the Democratic Party.
The murder of Azem Hajdari was the most monstrous attempt after 8 years of pluralism, not merely to kill the symbol of democracy in Albania, but everything connected with Azem Hajdari’s work, beginning in 1990 and especially after the Communists took power. The murder of the hero of Albanian democracy was not merely a murder, but an execution and an attempt to shoot down the Albanian opposition, democracy and political pluralism in Albania.
