What the DP loses and what it gains

EDITORIAL By Astrit PATOZI The fact cannot be denied that Pollo’s unjustified withdrawal caused shock and confusion among DP activists, who gathered in front of its headquarters as they had in its best and worst days. But their shock has come from disappointment, and not at all because they thought it was a catastrophe for the Democratic Party. What the Democratic Party loses from this whole story is precisely the bad impression Pollos’s ugly gesture leaves on thousands of its members and supporters, regardless of the fact that the DP chairman considers it a rival’s free choice, a rival who is no longer such on pages 2–3
