Today at 18:30, let us gather together in front of the Democratic Party to protest the state’s silence over the murder of Azem Hajdari. Once again, a peaceful candlelight procession to honor and remember the tribune of the Democrats, on the 13-month anniversary of his burial. Democrats can never forgive the blood of Azem Hajdari. They will continue the protests until his murder is fully solved, the perpetrators are found and they are punished.

The government protects Azem Hajdari’s killers
Today, 395 days since the murder of the December Leader
Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and its successor in this crime that shook the entire Albanian world. The government is neo-communist to its roots, and the criminal accomplices who took the life of the December Leader show Albanians that they were people and not merely killers, particularly in their own way, but they are untouched by those in power. Democrats and all Albanians who want Azem Hajdari’s killers brought down cannot tolerate this under any circumstances. The government must either answer for the reasons for its failure to act, or publicly declare that it was the one that carried out Azem Hajdari’s murder.
