EDITORIAL By Astrit PATOZI Just three days ago, the newspaper “Rilindja Demokratike” warned that serious events for the country would accompany Fatos Nano's re-election as chairman of the Socialist Party. In its issue following the results of the Socialists' Congress, “RD” wrote that after Nano's Enverist faction won in the SP, the gangs were expected to become active again in Tropojë, Vlorë, Tirana and everywhere else. Unfortunately, the newspaper's prophecy was soon borne out, because before the echoes of the accusations and counter-accusations at the Socialist Party Congress had even died down, Bajram Curri was awash in blood, after at least three months of order and calm in the Tropojë district.
