The Preçis, prey of the corruption sharks
By Astrit PATOZI
Prime Minister Meta dismissed two junior ministers in the government in the name of the fight against corruption, doing the opposite of what he had publicly declared. By removing the two Preçis from his cabinet, he has in fact cleared the way for the big sharks who have controlled all the dirty dealings in Albania for two years, among whom he himself is now numbered. Now that the two ministers have been dismissed and Mejdani’s signature is being delayed simply because of an old habit of the President, who is rather reluctant to sign, the reason for the Prime Minister’s anger toward two of his own appointees, chosen just two months ago, is becoming increasingly clear.

The government protects Azem Hajdari’s killers
Today, 485 days since the murder of the December Leader
Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and his successor in the crime that shook the entire Albanian world.
The government of the former communists, which is trying to make peace with all the criminals who took the December Leader’s life, shows Albanians that these people are on the side of the murderers, who have names and surnames but refuse to give up power. The Democrats and all Albanians who loved Azem Hajdari and opposed his murder cannot catch these guilty people. The government must either bring the criminals before justice, or publicly admit that it itself committed the murder of Azem Hajdari.
