Today, 498 days since the murder of the December Leader

The government protects Azem Hajdari’s killers Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and its successors in the crime that shook the entire Albanian nation. The governments of the former communists, which allow the criminals who took the life of the December Leader to go free and unpunished, show Albanians that they have been and remain on the side of the killers, who have names and surnames but are untouched by those in power. Albanian democracy and freedom cannot tolerate this, and the memory of the late Azem Hajdari cannot tolerate such disgraceful compromises. The government must either arrest the criminals and bring them to justice, or publicly declare that it itself committed the murder of Azem Hajdari.
