All those who are still convinced that economic prosperity, peace, independence and coexistence of Albanians in the Balkans, and the strength of Albania and the support of our allies, especially the USA, would be impossible without the truth, today more than ever must join on 20 February 2000 in Skanderbeg Square, to express their spiritual voice. The prosecution and the blind executors of the Bloc’s orders ignore the importance of 20 February, falsifying it, while the forces of Rokfeler’s “gang” and his political pups try to criminalize the winners of this uprising. The place of all Albanians untouched by the communist past and conscious of speaking in the name of the free and democratic future of this society will be in Skanderbeg Square. In order to achieve this, we want not only to rise above the present, but also to instill in future generations that 20 February cannot be confined within the boundaries of a single event. 20 February will be the heaviest stone in the implementation of the deepest patriotic, nationalist, democratic and pro-Western ideals, or it must prove that the duty of those who claim to govern cannot represent the future. 20 February must be protected from distortion by those who, with ignorance and shamelessness, want to strip it of its true dimension. It must strongly influence the corruption of our politics and the direct reform against the past. 20 February, with its historical scale and weight, is the challenge of Albanian democracy.
