Today, 521 days since the murder of Azem Hajdari A wake over the grave of Azem Hajdari Azem. Every day we count the time from the murder of the democracy and independence of our Albania not only in days and months, but also in hours and minutes. For every honest Albanian, and especially for us democrats, this date will always remain unforgettable. It is a heavy and incurable wound that will never close in the conscience of every Albanian until the truth is made clear and the instigators and perpetrators of this terrorist act are punished; this act took the life of the leader of democracy Azem Hajdari and of the Republic guard, Fatmir Hoxha, and also seriously injured MP Bedri Hoxha and Hajdari’s escort. This requires the uncovering of the truth, the establishment of justice, and not the creation of parliamentary commissions that aim to delay and hinder the clarification of this event. The memory of Azem Hajdari and guard Fatmir Hoxha will always be unforgettable. May the martyrs of democracy be unforgettable! Glory! Today at Hotel Tirana, at 18:00, the organs of the Democratic Party are organizing the protest in defence of human freedoms and rights, the independence and integrity of institutions, the denunciation of violations of the constitution and legality, of police terror and violence against the opposition, of different opinion, of the free and independent press, as well as of attempts at a coup d’état. Let us take part in the protest and not allow the theft of the free vote, the installation of the fascist and mafia junta in Albania.
