Today, 594 days since Azem’s murder Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement of Fatos Nano’s government and his successor in the crime that shook the entire Albanian world. The government of the former communists, throughout its hierarchy, has made itself responsible for his murder, while its criminals, by showing Albanians that they are all on the side of the killers, remain in power under their authority. Democrats and all Albanians who loved and honored Azem Hajdari know well that those responsible are everywhere. The government can no longer tolerate these facts. The government must either arrest the criminals and bring them before justice, or publicly declare that it itself committed the murder of Azem Hajdari.
