CEC members, heads on the grill

By Teodor LACO In these hot days, the final act of the comedy with the conventional title “Central Election Commission” is expected to be staged. A humorous friend of mine calls its members “heads on the grill.” So far, the director has been President Meidani, since this gentleman, in his excessive zeal to serve the mother party, wrote the first act of this comedy by announcing a CEC before the Electoral Law had been approved, a commission in which quite well-known actors played, known for their “impartiality,” such as Aradian Klosi, for example on page 6

Irresponsible governors

The government protects Azem’s killers

Today, 665 days since the December leader’s murder Every day that passes since the murder of Azem Hajdari, the symbol of democracy and pluralism, proves the involvement in the crime of Albanian tradition of Fatos Nano’s government and his successor. The communist government, which leaves free and untroubled the criminals who took the life of the December Leader, shows Albanians that it has been and remains on the side of the murderers, who have names of their own but are not touched by those in power. Democrats and all Albanians who loved and honored Azem Hajdari cannot tolerate this fact under any circumstances. The government must either catch the criminals and bring them to justice, or publicly declare that it itself committed the murder of Azem Hajdari.
