This is the mentality toward a democratic society of those who took power three years ago and, on October 1 of this year, without letting go of it, stole votes by the shovel-load. Just read the front page of the Nanove newspaper to understand what monsters are in power today; worse still, they are attempting to make their rule permanent. This criminal mindset toward power and democracy in general is no different from that of their predecessors. This is the thuggish, thieving defiance of the free citizens of a country that once overthrew communism, but which apparently must rise up again with the same force to overthrow it once more. Just read these headlines, and you need not think any harder to understand who is running the state in Tirana and who the lesser figures are, now descending on the municipalities and communes after the mass theft of votes. This is the terrifying mentality of an occupier, because in fact they have taken the institutions by force and violence. They are charging at power just like swarms of locusts at fields planted with wheat, and everyone knows what happens after the cloud of locusts departs. These thugs are beginning their first day of work in the stolen municipalities and communes by baring their teeth at those who think and vote differently from them, even though the latter are the majority.
