The Guard's bullets have not only killed the four opposition protesters in the January 21 demonstration, but have also seriously endangered the lives of the Prime Minister's Office staff. From the heavy bursts of fire by the Republican Guard units, bullets also managed to penetrate the internal areas of the Prime Minister's building, seriously endangering the lives of employees of the Council of Ministers administration. Political chirping
I hadn't met the Prime Minister for a long time. He had been traveling abroad, and he hadn't appeared much on TV lately either. But here he was. All in his splendor at the parliamentary group meeting, showing us that the head of the SP, Edi Rama, cannot defeat Prime Minister Sali Berisha by chirping. I set off for coffee.
Me – Good afternoon, Mr. Prime Minister. It's a bit cold here.
Him – Well, Anila, it's very cold outside; it can't get warm.
Me – Yes, yes. But I don't have a clue whether you're feeling hot or cold. Last year, floods – lights in abundance. This year, frost – no lights at all. We don't think about that, Mr. Prime Minister. For example, yesterday: websites, blogs, forums, Facebook, Twitter, were all just about chirping. The criminal events from four days earlier were forgotten. It doesn't matter that two girls were killed; Edi Rama is chirping, said the commenting citizens. Well, there's no problem that all of northern Albania has frozen, just like all of Europe actually, even worse than us, but there they are somewhat more organized, while in Albania even the filming crew that goes out to shoot gets stuck in the snow. And still we chirp.
It doesn't matter that the deputy head of the KLD is being dismissed through an opaque procedure; he too chirps, from morning to night and across the television screens. And Bamir Topi? Strangely, we haven't heard him chirping these days about his party.
That American ambassador has driven us crazy, chirping on Frangaj's TV stations, precisely where the voice of the majority is heard most. He too, chirp chirp, telling us that the attack on the prosecutor general is not justified by the United States. Fine, the American, but what is Sanino of the EU singing about, chirping that we haven't fulfilled the EU recommendations, the 12 obligations they have set for us?...

15 YEARS OF FEUD
TIRANA
15 years of blood feud among the three rival clans of Aleksandër Gocaj have resulted in a war between them, reaching the point of the physical elimination of all the men of one household. The Gocaj family has suffered the greatest losses; it is the family of the “Dedja” clan in Burrel, where it is learned that the circle of friends or relatives with the 37-year-old Aleksandër Gocaj, who for about a week has returned to...
