Three PDs on the lost road
Comment
BY EDI RAMA
Three PDs on the
lost road
The split of the PD into three is a
[?] that has made even more confused
the government and communication with the public
of the majority left in government. The
"fratricidal" war in the right-wing camp has just
begun. The prime minister's desperate attempt
to save from drowning
in the sea of corruption his own ship,
overloaded with the spoils of governmental piracy,
has two rebels in its sights,
who have taken with them the two PDs
split off from the ruined group of his PD.
It is an internal war of the kind
where yesterday's brothers have become bitter enemies of
each other. But it is also
an old war repeated on the right
with the same culprit as the main protagonist,
the communist secretary of the PD, who, just
as that poem says, "grew old but did not
leave the door" from the places that have determined from
the very beginning the balance of evil
embodied in his leadership at the head
of the Democratic Party.
The President of the Republic, elected
forcibly by Saliu and his majority
five years ago at the head of state,
has been declared an agent of the Socialist Party.
Likewise the Vice President of the High Council of Justice,
elected just as forcibly by the same man
and by the same majority in the fiery ranks
of the PD, has been declared an enemy working for the Socialist Party. The
same story that repeats itself as with the enemies
of Saliu's rule in the 1990s, who were
massacred by his propaganda back then
and today are settled in the lap of the prime
minister after returning with their tails between their legs to the old PD, shouting without
a trace of shame...
