The number of votes received by the Democratic Party candidate for the KLD showed that Berisha and Topalli had every reason to be concerned about the measures they took. Ilir Meta and the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Vangjel Tavo, together with Lefter Koka did not vote, leaving only the deputy-minister Nasip Naço, who under the circumstances in which the vote was conducted, could not help but vote. And the result turned out as expected, Berisha won with a disrupted vote, without the participation of the opposition. Did the majority pass with the help of a woman? Mediu and Naço were forced to reveal by the manner of voting, but it confirmed that it is ready to use every means to win again. Some people see the Muslim faith as the strong bond between the two countries. Religion is an external and superficial argument compared with the deeper reasons of a geopolitical nature. Even if it were entirely atheist, entirely Christian or Buddhist, in the geo-island configuration where Albania is located it would have, as it does, an unshakable pillar of its foreign policy: friendship with Turkey. On its part Ankara has been consistently unusually favorable toward us. The presidents, prime ministers and other high-ranking officials of Albania have been and are received with great honors in Turkey.
