Commentary BY PREÇ ZOGAJ About Rama’s latest moves There are four recent moves by the PS chairman, Edi Rama, not all of the same category, which have provoked unusual reactions and debates in the country’s political and media arena. -The candidacy of Adrian Visha for the vacant post of member of the High Council of Justice. 2-The proposal for the election of the President. 3-The appearance on Blendi Fevziu’s “Opinion” program. 4-The freer meeting at his host’s villa in the Lalzi Bay. These moves, especially the first and the fourth, have created turbulence because they represent a moment of baptism or rebirth for Edi Rama as a pragmatist, after having invested for years in the image of a missionary. Faced with the wave of contradictory reactions, Mr. Rama felt it necessary to step into the press arena himself to explain and argue why and how, placing his moves under the aegis or umbrella of a new politics of p[?]jes, responsibility and dialogue, which are in fact three faces of constructive politics.
