Comment BY AFRIM KRASNIQI The misunderstood majority and minority The majority has long had as its main political thesis its right as a majority to make political decisions without the need for the opposition. It says that it is the majority, and as such, it has the right to make any decision, including controversial laws, the election of the president, the head of SHISH, the deputy chairman of the KLD or other posts of a non-partisan constitutional nature. It rejects any initiative, criticism or suggestion from the parliamentary minority with the idea that the country cannot be governed by the ideas of the minority. The latter, conscious of being the political victim, remains fanatically distant from power and parliamentary mechanisms, complaining, denouncing, refusing or counter-proposing in the form of preconditions to any initiative or idea of the majority. In the logic of the parliamentary minority, the majority has the duty to listen to, respect and approve the opposition's suggestions. So far it seems that we are in formal respect for the principles of democracy: elections are held, one side wins and becomes the majority, one side loses and remains the minority until the next elections.
