Comment BY ENTON ABILEKAJ When Meta speaks against Berisha While Berisha was formalizing the initiative for a referendum on immunity, Meta was calling for a quick solution within September. A clash that signals, as expected, an interesting season until the elections. Against the backdrop of the Rama-Meta meeting in Tetovo, the contradictory positions of the majority leaders create a false illusion on the left. It is hard to believe that the chairman of the LSI prefers Rama over Berisha, but electoral calculations can always drive him to Meta’s side, from one shore to the other. With the referendum, Berisha seeks to exploit politically to the end the hesitation of the socialists from 20 days earlier. Although it is clear to everyone that the socialists will vote at the beginning of September for the consensual draft on limiting immunity, Berisha insists on the referendum, without considering the deadlines that, according to him, could jeopardize integration.
