Albania has failed to meet nine conditions, out of the 12 set by the European Commission, in order to benefit from candidate country status in the autumn of this year. Despite the government’s claim that immunity is the last step, only three conditions have been implemented, and those with the contribution of the opposition, since its vote was required.
