Lirak Bejko, the 47-year-old from Skrapar, father of two daughters, set himself on fire yesterday with gasoline as a sign of protest against the government’s silence regarding their demands. His friends say that he walked out of the tent saying he was going to leave the hunger strike, and they were horrified when they saw him engulfed in flames.
