Comment BY ADRI NURELLARI The left must prove its patriotism now In an interview a few days ago, the opposition leader said that there is “time” for voting on the Cham resolution, while it is well known that a great deal of time has already passed without the Albanian state making any effort to correct this injustice regarding the Cham issue, and that it has long since lost its national dignity by putting this issue into the drawers of oblivion and indifference. Meanwhile, on the other hand, it was previously said that the Cham issue is important for the Socialist Party and for good reason it was included in the program. The contradictory statements and actions regarding the national issue by the Socialist Party seem to have become, in a way, a tradition in recent times. This incoherence, indecision or wavering makes one think that this patriotic cloak this party has tried to wear does not fit well and that there is a kind of inner frustration to remove it as soon as possible.
