Commentary BY AFRIM KSRASNIQI The challenges of a state that turned 5 years old Kosovo is the second youngest state in the world. After it comes a new state in Africa, which, unlike Kosovo, was declared by referendum and has still not managed to establish real independence and stability. Kosovo has passed this test. It has a state, it has territory, it has a flag, it has symbols, it has a passport, it has a president, parliament, government, courts, a constitution, laws, political parties and other state-identifying elements. There are still areas outside full local authority, but this remains a temporary issue; independence, the state, borders and sovereignty are irreversible.
