Comment BY AORI NURELLARI Opposition out of spite toward the mother-in-law The program recently presented by the Socialist Party and the party's recent rhetoric has focused against liberalism and nationalism, assuming that this way it harms the government and wins public support. This is a paradoxical situation because the application of these two ideologies in our country leaves much to be desired, and regardless of the claims, the Albanian state does not falter for liberalism or patriotism. In fact, the attack on these two ideologies out of spite for the fact that they are claimed by the prime minister gives the impression of the old saying “out of spite for the mother-in-law, I sleep with the millers.” This kind of negative, almost nihilistic reaction to everything associated with the government represents a huge emotional burden with which politics is made in Albania... continues on page 20
