after 15 years!!!
Yesterday the media widely
picked up the news that the
chief of police in Pogradec has
been placed under police
protection. The crime had
reached the point where police
officers had the protection of
police officers.
I remember in 1999,
when on the show “Ftesë në Stu-
dio” that I produced on TV Koha,
I had as my guest the poet,
publicist, politician, great man,
Dor Keko. Dori came to my
studio after an almost constant
request, after the coffees day
after day we drank at Bar West
in Parku Rinia. Since I was a
young journalist and had
ambitions that Dori valued, he
came to my studio. Very young
and very naive at the time, something
happened to me that had never
happened to me before.
I asked Dori about the reality
in Albania. After 1997, the so-
called rescue committees
throughout Albania dissolved.
But dangerous criminal elements
were roaming around Albania.
