Koletis, sick minds and divisive tongues have leapt over the border and continue to agitate around this “Idea.” I do not think it is appropriate to give a full overview of the efforts to Hellenize the southern Albanian lands, since much has already been spoken and written by prominent intellectual figures, while distinguished patriots have spoken their word with rifle and pen every time the waves of Greek anti-Albanianism have crashed against the rocks of our national lands. What prompts me to address this topic from my perspective is Bollano’s irritation over the administrative division project, which provides that part of the municipality of Himara will also be the commune of Vranisht, made up of the villages Kuç, Kallarat, Bolenë, Vranisht and Tërbaç.
