Commentary BY GËZIM ZILJA Speak up, Myqerem! A year has passed and the criticism of higher education, especially of teachers and even pre-school education, has not ended. What is not being said and what are we not hearing? In recent days, in fact, there have been special programs on primary education, where the examples shown take children's education many, many years backwards. At the meeting of 16.09.2014, World Bank director Ellen Goldstein said that “...in the latest PISA study, the performance of Albanian students is at a low level, that is, in the red, with regard to reading and mathematics. Albanians are the most backward in education compared with the other Balkan countries.” Could there be something to discuss regarding the above, and a former Minister of Education?
