Given the depth of meaning and the many-dimensional significance of the Qur’an, it was not and is not even today a simple book that can be understood, explained and interpreted by completely ordinary people who are not familiar with it or scholars of it. The first and correct interpreter of the Qur’an was Muhammad, peace be upon him, entrusted with the mission of prophethood to convey the divine message to humankind.
