We were left by the rulers with the bequest of the nation’s martyrs only in the ground, and since they did this, we tell them that with this bequest we will make Albania’s history—for democracy, independence and prosperity, for freedom, democracy, independence and progress. — A great power has the right to for- [illegible part] others by force for itself when it is right, because otherwise it becomes arrogant. In Europe, a scheme has been devised and organized from the dusty archives of ’14 by certain groups that aim to establish spheres of influence. We condemn Rajerson and Hill. But this does not mean that we are an anti-American party, because we cannot think that way. [illegible part] in democracy and progress [illegible part] for the good of Rajerson, who come to Albania with appeals on their lips. — We denounce these things today not out of spite, but because they are contrary to our program, because the sweat of the people is being stolen by a group of people who abandoned Albania when it was the momen- [illegible part]. — Legislative bills passed by force, such as the «compensation of owners», we will call illegal because they make it possible for «capo- [illegible part]» and criminals like Gjonmarkaj and others to emerge—people who lived far better than the masses, who lived by the sweat of their brow. — I have confidence in justice workers. They have [unclear] in Albania and will remain in Albania. They will never forget this. The greatest number of people receiving assistance are in Tirana. The well-fed cannot understand the hungry. And so, the government does not listen; people have to shout loudly for it to hear them. — Nothing can be resolved in this country without distributing certificates and securities to the people, which will help eliminate social conflicts. — Former owners must be compensated, but not at the expense of others. We know that people persecuted for political reasons must be integrated into society and must be [unclear] to make this happen. But this must not be done at the expense of a majority in social terms. — If they threaten us with thugs [unclear], we will show them their place with «honest thugs». We do not threaten, but warn.
