The Deputy Chairman of the PSSH and Chairman of FRESSH, Ilir Meta, received the delegation of the Labour Youth of Norway
Yesterday morning, the Deputy Chairman of the PSSH and Chairman of FRESSH, Ilir Meta, received the delegation of the Labour Youth of Norway, led by its president, Trond Giske, a member of the Presidium of the Labour Party. The delegation also included the vice-president of the Socialist Youth International, Rita Otervik, and the International Secretary, Ulf Tore Isaksen. The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of FRESSH, vice-president of the Socialist Youth International, Monika Kryemadhi, and the International Secretary of FRESSH, Gjergj Koja.
Ilir Meta acquainted the Norwegian guests with the difficult political situation in the country and with the constructive positions of the PSSH in dealing with it. In particular, he spoke about the latest developments in the Court of Cassation, the Nano case and the law on punishment for genocide, which aim to strike at the political opposition and especially the PS, as its main force. The leaders of the Labour Youth of Norway praised the role of the PSSH in building a rule-of-law state and democratizing the country, and expressed their solidarity with the Nano case, as a genuinely political issue. Monika Kryemadhi and Gjergj Koja informed the Norwegian guests about the role of FRESSH in political life and its future activities. The meeting also discussed concrete projects between FRESSH and the Labour Youth of Norway. On Sunday, the delegation of the Labour Youth of Norway concluded its visit to our country, invited by FRESSH.

Wild police measures
Specials of the day (not from TV, but from the Ministry of the Interior), the kind that arrive for events from the track in Kakavie and Lazarat, then, more or less, let’s use a little violence, a little terror and a little curfew in the cultured and gentle city. And they did not hold back: they entered hotels and dragged clients out in the middle of the night, blocked roads, squares and vehicles in a row, stopped and checked dozens of citizens, raided clubs and billiard halls, and beat and mistreated people. They punched with fists, even hitting ordinary people on the head and in the stomach. Something unheard of and never seen here before. On Monday evening the city was shut down and gathered as if under curfew, it fell into chaos. The question was: how much hatred is this? That was the first and simplest question from those who were abused and beaten, from those caught in such scenes, from parents and citizens. What has happened that the state forces and raises its own people with hands in the air like this?
The “razor” will stay a few days in Gjirokastër, you hear (razor is what the police vans are called). The razor seems to want to guard. The razor wants to guard, but the barber should know that sometimes, as people say in this case, one goes out for wool and comes out shorn oneself. You can even come out completely shaved.
The PD and its government are playing dangerous games in the areas where they are losing. They do nothing but deepen the future abyss. Drugs and weapons that are supposedly being sought do not belong to the people. The first has seized the state, the one that also has the second in its hands, the weapon.
