Ahead of the new elections, Berisha is endangered by the PD

Ahead of the new elections Berisha is endangered by the PD - Berisha receives “authorization” to lead the PD’s election campaign. - Will the PD choose a new chairman at the National Assembly? - The opposition is calling for clear rules on Berisha’s participation in the election campaign. Berisha is preparing to see his party in opposition. And, nine months after the parliamentary elections, to see himself without the presidential chair as well. This means that he must already now think about the role he will play in Albanian politics. And that role cannot be understood without his party. With the “authorization” he receives from the German foundation, Berisha is thus seeking to secure a leading role in his party even after moving into opposition. So the full picture of the reasoning around Berisha’s “German passport” to head the election campaign becomes clear. Page 3
