Former president Ramiz Alia is arrested
Yesterday the General Prosecutor's Office opened the investigation and at the same time ordered the arrest of the former head of state and leader of the PPSH during the years 1985-1991.
At 5:30 p.m. he appeared at the General Prosecutor's Office. Alia was accompanied by his lawyer Kujtim Cakrani. Around 8:00 p.m., Ramiz Alia left the General Prosecutor's Office and was taken toward the Security Block, where he will be held in isolation.
