Tirana shaken by crime
Director General of Prisons Bujar Kaloshi is killed in the early hours of the morning
Two weeks after the killing of the head of the Rrëshen Police Commissariat, Colonel Agim Godi, another shock at home, which in no way can be justified by the stale statements “the murderer disappeared in an unknown direction,” or “the police are working intensively to catch the perpetrators.” The whole public, troubled and threatened by crime, demands the exposure and punishment of the criminals, not irresponsible statements with political overtones that, instead of helping uncover the truth, spread even more fog.

The first account from residents of the area in the white city with balloons was the sound of the revolver in the ugly crime with which the Director General of Prisons, Colonel Bujar Kaloshi, a close relative and first confidant of the acting Prime Minister Aleksandër Meksi, was executed during the night.
The black “Audi” with red plates in which Colonel Kaloshi was returning home from work was found at the side of the road near “Shallvaret,” with the windows shut dark and with banknotes and bank cards inside. Thursday evening remains shrouded in fog and complete mystery for the Director General of Prisons, who was found dead on Friday morning at one of Tirana’s main locations.
