This situation today forced the general secretary of the PPSH, Servet Pëllumbi, to call in a press statement for the CEC to correct the mistakes, violations and abuses of all polling-station commissions and not allow them to be repeated on Sunday. The PPSH considers the runoff to be an indicator of the will of the people and, as a result, this Sunday citizens must turn out massively to vote in support of the candidate of the left-wing coalition. The PPSH statement speaks of scandals and manipulations in the areas where the revote is taking place and where right-wing candidates are trying to win by all means. In Vlorë, the Democrats forced the Socialist Party candidate into a runoff by a margin of only 18 votes, declaring hundreds of left-wing votes invalid.
