Yes to peaceful protests, no to violence and destruction!
The SPSh supports the peaceful and civilized protests of citizens, calling on them to distance themselves from violence and destruction
Enough of Albania being destroyed!
The misery of the pyramid schemes in Albania and theirs in the streets and squares
The situation is slipping out of control. Citizens no longer believe that protests can be held calmly and peacefully. Some of the schemes have gone bankrupt, while others continue to fleece the population by millions of lekë a day. This angers the broad masses of the people, who are erupting in powerful protests. The SP supports peaceful popular protests and calls for them to be civic-minded and civilized, while on its part it denounces the government and those responsible for this catastrophe. In a press statement, the Presidency of the Socialist Party says: “Instead of calming the situation, Prime Minister Meksi and President Berisha are making it worse. According to them, the popular protests are being organized and incited by the opposition, thus trying to divert the people's attention from the fraud and the bankruptcy of their money. Yesterday's news that an agreement had been reached between the two oppositions and the government led by the PSSh was nothing more than a trick to throw dust in the eyes of insecure and worried people. Yesterday's news that an agreement had been reached between the two oppositions and the government led by the PSSh was nothing more than a trick to throw dust in the eyes of insecure and worried people. The stage for this deception also involved yesterday's deliberate gatherings of the rally organizers in Skënderbej Square, citizens brought by bus from other cities. These are bad practices that are serving to destabilize and worsen the situation. The PSSh calls on the government to take responsible measures and decisions and to give citizens the assurance that the money stolen by the rent-seeking firms will be returned. The government must not bring disorder and insecurity back to citizens, but instead should govern for the government's resignation and the creation of a technical government, with the consensus of one political force

The revolt has also spread to Lushnje and Kavajë
The first step to restoring people's trust is not the President's empty demagoguery, but the government's resignation and the creation of a technical government, with the consensus of one political force

More zeal? - further praise of the “unity and organizers” of the rally in Skënderbej Square, socialist pioneers was a trick to throw dust in the eyes; destruction, burning of vehicles, use of weapons by the police, are the devilry that bring about the abuse of socialist rights,
Tirana, 24 January (SOTER)
More inspired. In yesterday's protests by the citizens of the city of Lushnje, sad scenes were involved. The PSSh unequivocally condemns the use of weapons, the burning of vehicles, the destruction of public and private property, as well as the provocative behavior of PD figures and the police used as a means of pressure on public opinion in the city.
