Bandits in Parliament
Armed men, known as criminals and mercenaries of the PD, provoked a conflict
Berisha and his followers trample over the blood of the dead by leaving Parliament when silence was requested in their honor
The state at war against crime
It is no coincidence that in the capital in recent days the idea has spread that deals are being made in parliament for criminals and their followers. Yesterday’s parliamentary session was characterized by anti-democracy. Not only the presence in the chamber of some of the "dead and wounded", identified as members of criminal gangs and individuals known as mercenaries of former President Berisha, but also the opposition to the people, as from the parliamentary rostrum they tried to rehabilitate this category of persons, who were linked to the chaotic aftermath of the bloody actions carried out during the unrest. The Presidium of the Assembly, which was acting through parliamentary procedure, on this occasion asked for a minute of silence to honor the dead, the citizens and the security forces. For this purpose, they left Parliament when silence was requested in their honor. Hashi and his followers, mainly PD deputies, on Berisha’s orders, severely insulted the People’s Assembly and Mr. Skënder Gjinushi, interrupted the session, enraged against the people, against 30 June and against reforms. The Presidium wisely revived the session. At first, through announcements, the Presidium of the Assembly, in a state and humanitarian manner, asked the people, the affected citizens, the families of the martyrs and the security forces to honor the victims with a minute of silence. The chamber was left by those who do not know the language of the law, nor civic respect. Those remaining in the chamber stood up. Hans and his group went outside, amid shouts, with [weapons?][?], threats and insults. Yesterday’s event in Parliament made a special impression on the Albanian people, who expect from this parliament not the rehabilitation of criminals, but their condemnation and the establishment of the rule of law.

Ahead of the Second Summit of the Council of Europe, to be held in Strasbourg on 10 and 11 October
President Chirac invites President Meidani
"I would be particularly pleased to welcome you in Paris in the context of your participation in [Summit?] ..."
In his response on the occasion of his election as President of the Republic, the French President Jacques Chirac expressed to President Rexhep Meidani the high interest France attaches to developments in Albania, also recalling the fact that his country, in accordance with the tradition of close cooperation with Central and Eastern Europe, had provided, in the event of unrest, concrete and rapid responses by sending military units within the Multinational Protection Force, deployed in Albania to help resolve the Albanian crisis. The French president, who informs his Albanian counterpart that France will continue its efforts to re-establish a mission with the UN Security Council organized and mediated by Europe, within a framework in which his country will continue to make its own contribution, also declares itself ready to help Albania in several areas. Below is published the text of the message from the President of France addressed to the President of Albania:
"Your message, by which you informed me of your assumption of the highest office, gave me the greatest pleasure. The medal of the Albanian people's victories in these elections adds to your authority. It likewise honors the power of reconciliation in your country. The President of the French Republic, convinced that our relations, which express our longstanding and friendly ties, will see new progress, wishes to extend to you his warm congratulations. In my own name and in the name of the French people, please believe in my desire to develop the ties between our countries. First, to make known to you France's important intervention in support of Albania, I would recall that my country responded quickly and decisively by sending military units within the framework of the Multinational Protection Force. These units, sent to Albania, had the mission of contributing to the restoration of order. To show the attention I attach to the situation in your country, I asked the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to represent France at the [funeral?] of King [Astan?][?], held on 30 July."
