PRESIDENT MEIDANI MEETS THE DELEGATION OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE
President Meidani informed the guests of his vision regarding the role of the President and some of the steps he had taken during his brief tenure as head of state to give the opposition a greater role in institutional spaces, in representing the Albanian state at international meetings, in the mass media, etc. Naturally, Albania’s political reality is not uniform, he emphasized. At the local level, political parties reach agreements with one another, under pressure from people who live together without conflicts despite their different political convictions.
