, where the candidates for the 29 June elections, Blendi Klosi and Albert Mëlyshi, presented their program to the residents of Vorë. The Secretary for Electoral Affairs in the PSD, Skënder Gjinushi, said that the 21 June elections showed that Albanians had returned to normality and that the mafia-like clone of the Meksi-Berisha Government had sunken once and for all. A significant and highly positive step for the country, the liberation of Albania from crime and political terror, was made by Fatos Nano, who stated that 29 June 1998 should be replaced by 28 November 1944. The Meksi-Berisha Government, entirely forged in violence, must understand well that it cannot be on the same level as today's and tomorrow's coalition. Move forward with confidence toward victory, because tomorrow belongs to you and to the political forces of Kosovo. Only the government of Kosovo can make the upcoming rural and Euro-Atlantic elections? - Nano declared. Prime Minister Ylli Bufi said that Albanians should vote calmly and without fear, since the era of Sali Berisha's rule, which used force and police administration to trample on the free citizen, had come to an end. Bufi said that it is not an argument for Berisha to organize 40 truckloads of bullets in order to seize a place in parliament that belongs to someone else. Likewise, Bufi said, transferring police and military forces to polling centers does not serve Berisha and does not raise his standing; according to him, these actions show his fear and panic. Bufi also said that a vote for the socialists is hope that will bring down and permanently eliminate the Meksi-Berisha model, which came to power through stolen votes, deceit, the plundering of property and political terror. The candidates for deputy SHEFKI SHEHU and General ALBERT MËLYSHI also spoke at the meeting in Vorë. The leader of the social democrats, Gjinushi, concluded his speech by declaring: "Vote on 29 June for the winners of the victory of 21 June, the winners of the 29 June coalition showed that Albanians serve the interests of the people and not the interests of usurped power".
