FATOS NANO - ROBIN KUK

TIRANA - Prime Minister Fatos Nano had a telephone conversation yesterday with British Foreign Secretary Robin Kuk, during which they discussed developments in the region, Albanian-British bilateral relations, and the progress of the integration process in Albania. The two interlocutors shared the common view that bilateral relations had improved significantly and positively, and would soon be strengthened through further contacts at high levels of government. Mr. Kuk expressed his government’s commitment to influencing a swift and peaceful resolution of the conflict in Kosovo. He emphasized the support the European Union is offering this nation for its future, both within the country and in the Balkans.
