A fact and some issues for the High Council of Justice The justice authorities and independence, corruption, and violations of the law are most often perceived as one and the same. This is partly due to the “merit” of the professional self-restraint of those whom the law entrusts with administering justice, and partly to the “merit” of the political state and its placing the justice authorities at its service, much like Berisha's regime. As a result, today there is punishment within the justice authorities, which do anything but dispense justice. Citizens are sent from one office to another, become exasperated, and are irresponsibly brushed aside, to the point that it is no mistake to say that all this is part of a destabilizing strategy inspired by politics.
