ANGJELI WITH A BIG STICK AGAINST SMUGGLING

They will supervise traders and customs officers TIRANË - The new customs code, approved by parliament, aims to create a modern control system from scratch. As part of this initiative, this administration will be equipped with new uniforms. Kodak's advertisement for the uniforms aroused suspicions. One of the measures being taken in the customs sector, say officials from the ministry, is also the proposal of several funds in the budget, at the disposal of the customs administration. The reform of the new customs code is proceeding rapidly and soon implementation will begin of a World Bank project for the computerization of customs offices in 9 cities across the country. These are some of the Ministry of Finance’s priorities in the fight against smuggling and illegal trafficking.
