Majko, press conference in Washington
WASHINGTON - During his official visit to the USA, Albanian Prime Minister Pandeli Majko last night had a meeting with the American and foreign press media. Speaking before press representatives at the capital's press club, the head of the Albanian government said that Albania expects diplomacy and any solution based on respect for human rights and autonomy; otherwise Kosovo, which is being threatened and burned, will be another Bosnia, he said. Regarding pressure on the FRY and Serbia, the Albanian prime minister stated that, especially Kosovo Albanians, are aware that the USA and NATO's decision for military intervention are very promising, powerful and workable in order to develop, turn others into more p[?]e p[?]a of his values. Sali Berisha is that loser who brought the country into a crisis like the one at the beginning of this month, the prime minister declared. It is not the first time he says the opposite of what he said before. The criticism he makes of the government regarding Kosovo is a general concern, but he is behaving at a moment, and in a way that does not solve problems, but creates difficulties, since the Albanian government qipar[?] responded that the Albanian government Milosevi[?] does not know how to implement those.
