TIRANA - At the invitation of the Greek Foreign Minister, Mr Jorgo Papandreu, PSSh Chairman Fatos Nano leaves for Athens today, where he will take part in the Memorial Lecture dedicated to former PASOK leader Andrea Papandreu. This year the Memorial Lecture will be delivered by former World Bank Vice President Mr Stiglitz, who was also Chairman of the US President’s Council of Economic Advisers. Professor Stiglitz currently lectures at Stanford University in the US and is also considered the creator of Information Economics and the role of the state in the market economy. During his two-day stay in Athens, the PSSh Chairman will hold official meetings with the highest-ranking figures in Greece’s political and state life.

The incident, made public by the press office of the Interior Ministry, is said to have occurred at midday on Sunday. The rapid-response unit of the Lezhë Police Station had begun patrolling and carrying out checks in several locations in the villages around Lezhë.
