PD, the pyramid-opposition. The positioning of the main opposition party, the leadership of the PD, was again paradoxical yesterday. PD as a pyramid-opposition. The positioning of the main opposition party and the PD leadership was again paradoxical yesterday. They lost, while wandering in opposition, and in the end they cling to the conviction that the misery of the PD is that it lost in government. This recalls a famous sentence by a great leader, who once, when asked about the critics of the opposition, said: indeed, a good opposition is one that pushes the government to perform better. Regarding meetings with other parties, the first mentioned in this direction was the Democratic Alliance, which was seen as part of a new majority; how can the new opposition be found in government? Yet the ethics of opposition says that to become part of the majority there must be internal reflection. What PD politicians and their supporters have been talking about in recent days is their need to reform themselves into a new political force, with a program, a reorganization, and unity. This once again recalls the politics of lies, an idea repeated yesterday like a slogan across the pages of the newspaper. In reality, the PD needs to change its way of thinking and its discourse, in an effort to stop a crisis that has reached catastrophic proportions. In the end, everything is tied to a deep political and institutional crisis, to lost trust in institutions, to crime and to the financial pyramids. It is probably clear to anyone that the PD must stand before a mirror of itself, which now appears with major mistakes, with policies described as wrong. It must pay attention to itself, conduct analyses, confront reality, and take measures to prevent the exploitation of the opposition for party interests. An end must be put to a political culture in which blame is always shifted onto others. Media displays, empty promotions and accusations against political opponents will no longer be enough. The media has in these days kept its eyes on developments of public interest centered on election preparations, the state of public order, the dangers of the pyramids and the role of institutions. At the same time, the public expects a clear response from politics. While the PD tries to find a new language, the confrontation with the recent past and its responsibilities remain unavoidable.
