Mba[?] for the opening of everything? The new democracy? ... Is Majko closer than Berisha in breaking politics with the left-wing students? That was the question posed last night at the table of "Rogner." Despite this, Majko again sharply pointed out that his relationship with the students is completely different from Berisha's. In fact, a tougher debate and longer communication with them has come since his candidacy as chairman of the Socialist Party. He openly opposed Berisha's method of bringing students closer to power. At the same time, he pointed out that, considering the latest developments in the student movement, the opposition should take a step back regarding its demands. But with what logic? According to him, we must return to the original policy of dialogue, on one side with the government, on the other with the opposition. In this framework, he stressed that his previous position of not accepting political responsibilities, when on 14 July a student was killed, had nothing to do with the demands of the student movement. We have had, and still have, dialogue with the opposition, in all forms and at all times, in the councils of both sides. But we need more clarity and must open a new perspective for dialogue, he said. That is what this is about: opening a new path for their protests and demands. He further said that he has not made and will not make any kind of distancing from the student movement. Once again, Majko stressed that students are an important factor for Albanian society and that every movement of theirs must be respected.

Demokracia e re? ... Më afër se Berisha prish politikën me studentët e majtë? Kjo ishte pyetja që u shtrua mbrëmë në tavolinën e "Rogner"-it. Pavarësisht nga kjo, Mjakja vuri një herë tjetër në dukje të ashpër se një marrëdhënie e tij me studentët është krejtësisht e ndryshme nga ajo e Berishës. Bile, një debat më i rreptë dhe një komunikim më i gjatë me ta, ka ardhur prej kandidaturës si kryetar i PS-së. Në fakt, ai kundërshtoi hapur metodën e Berishës për afrimin e studentëve në pushtet. Në të njëjtën kohë, ai vuri në dukje se, duke pasur parasysh zhvillimet e fundit në lëvizjen studentore, opozita duhet të bëjë një hap mbrapa në lidhje me kërkesat e saj. Por, me çfarë logjike? Sipas tij, duhet t'i kthehemi politikës së parë të dialogut, nga një anë me qeverinë, nga ana tjetër me opozitën. Në këtë kuadër, ai theksoi se qëndrimi i tij i mëparshëm për mospranimin e përgjegjësive politike, kur kishte 14 korrik, kur u vra një student, nuk kishte lidhje me kërkesat e lëvizjes studentore. Ne e kemi pasur dhe e kemi akoma dialogun me opozitën, në të gjitha format dhe kohën, në këshillat e të dy palëve. Por, duhet të kemi më shumë qartësi dhe të hapim një perspektivë të re dialogu, tha ai. Për këtë bëhet fjalë: hapjen e një rruge të re për protestat dhe kërkesat e tyre. Më tej, ai tha se nuk ka bërë dhe nuk do të bëjë asnjë lloj distancimi nga lëvizja e studentëve. Edhe një herë, Majko theksoi se studentët janë një faktor i rëndësishëm për shoqërinë shqiptare dhe se çdo lëvizje e tyre duhet të respektohet.

Mba[?] per l'apertura di tutto? La nuova democrazia? ... Majko è più vicino di Berisha nel rompere la politica con gli studenti di sinistra? Questa era la domanda posta ieri sera al tavolo del "Rogner". Nonostante ciò, Majko ha nuovamente sottolineato con forza che il suo rapporto con gli studenti è completamente diverso da quello di Berisha. In effetti, un dibattito più duro e una comunicazione più lunga con loro è arrivata dalla sua candidatura a presidente del Partito Socialista. Egli si è apertamente opposto al metodo di Berisha di avvicinare gli studenti al potere. Allo stesso tempo, ha sottolineato che, considerando gli ultimi sviluppi nel movimento studentesco, l'opposizione dovrebbe fare un passo indietro rispetto alle sue richieste. Ma con quale logica? Secondo lui, bisogna tornare alla politica iniziale del dialogo, da un lato con il governo, dall'altro con l'opposizione. In questo quadro, ha sottolineato che la sua precedente posizione di non accettare responsabilità politiche, quando il 14 luglio fu ucciso uno studente, non aveva nulla a che fare con le richieste del movimento studentesco. Abbiamo avuto e abbiamo ancora il dialogo con l'opposizione, in tutte le forme e in ogni momento, nei consigli di entrambe le parti. Ma dobbiamo avere più chiarezza e aprire una nuova prospettiva di dialogo, ha detto. Di questo si tratta: aprire una nuova strada per le loro proteste e richieste. Inoltre ha detto che non ha fatto e non farà alcun tipo di presa di distanza dal movimento degli studenti. Ancora una volta, Majko ha sottolineato che gli studenti sono un fattore importante per la società albanese e che ogni loro movimento deve essere rispettato.
