Albania is seeking to cleanse the state of the long-standing consequences of the European Community, corruption, and the wounds of democracy. For crimes and responsibility of the previous government, the opposition parties have been engaged in the efforts of a government that must find the painful solution to the issue among the people. “Is it a peace solution?” The hunters seek the purity of institutions, promising punishment and accountability. Some are filled with fear, others frustrated, but all have a kind of despair and a drift toward conflict. (Continued on page 3)
