As of yesterday – 35,000 refugees barbarically turned back
It is no longer only the Greek church, no longer only Greek chauvinist circles, no longer only the structures of the Greek state; now it is the Greek state, the revanchist Greek state, which, after massacring Albanians and maiming them, is sending them back home as lifeless corpses. It is the racist Greek state that is blindly acting, in the most primitive way, with the barbaric card of racism, a card forgotten even in the very countries that gave birth to it and nurtured it. Greece’s racist face is nothing new to Albanians. When Prime Minister Mitsotakis declared that he would build the new Greece with Albanians, it was the racist Greek state speaking. When the current prime minister of the Greek state, yesterday’s opponent of Mitsotakis, the revanchist racist, criticized the (racist) Greek state a year ago, it was the cunning of the racist Greek state deceiving people in order to impose its racism on Albanians today. The Greek state of today is writing the blackest page in the history of the homeland of democracy and civilization.

Rights acquired in a democracy must be guaranteed
RUSTEM GJATA, President of the Constitutional Court
In fact, the constitutions of none of the European states say that a state “is a parliamentary or presidential republic.” Most European states’ constitutions say that they are democratic republics. Indeed, in one [unclear] it should be added, as many European states also have, “social.” The independence of the branches of power and the non-interference of one in the work of another will be emphasized in the draft. The names of the rights will be included in the draft constitution being prepared by the appointed Commission, to be approved by consensus of all parliamentary groups.
Greece deserves to be declared “persona non grata”
41 years in prison for those accused of serving the Greek secret service. While serving their sentences, the convicts will be denied visits from their Greek friends, Zarbaulla, the priest Sebastianos and five other Greeks.
Prosecutor Qeleshi asked that they be declared undesirable persons in Albania. In his closing argument, Prosecutor Qeleshi once again repeated his arguments concerning the crimes of the five accused, as well as several other crimes that emerged during the investigative hearings.
Continuing his closing argument, the prosecutor requested that the accused be given the minimum sentences prescribed by the relevant articles. The request was motivated by humanitarian considerations and took into account the age of the existing General Criminal Code of the Republic of Albania, together with all the documented facts concerning the activities of Asfalia, the so-called Institute of Vorio-Epirote Studies, and other Greek state and non-state organizations. The Prosecutor General will file a complaint with the international court in The Hague.
At the end of the closing argument, the prosecution sought eight years’ imprisonment for Vangjel Papakristo, nine years for Theodhori Bezhani, seven years for Panajot Marto, eight for Kosta Qirjako and nine for Irakli Sirmo.
On 3 September, the defense lawyers and the accused will present their defense.
Prosecutor Qeleshi said that all the investigative material would be handed over to the Prosecutor General.

Measures that do not need to be analyzed publicly
At his latest press conference, the Minister of Press and Mass Information, Venizellos, told journalists that “Greece is implementing a series of measures that do not need to be analyzed publicly.”
They are measures related to protecting the borders, public order and combating crime.
At this press conference, Foreign Minister Papulias had stated that these measures (measures that cannot be analyzed publicly—our note) taken by the Greek government were producing good results.
Continuing the press conference, Venizellos assured journalists that the expulsion of Albanian refugees would continue.
In all his announcements and press conferences, Venizellos has never disclosed the number of Albanians held in Greek prisons.
Another Greek expelled along with Albanian refugees
Yesterday’s “Gazeta Shqiptare” reports that the Greek “fisheja” has begun to go blind, since along with thousands of Albanians it has begun to “fishejë” Greeks out of Greece as well.
The most flagrant case, “Gazeta Shqiptare” reports, is that of a Greek house painter. He was at work when Greek patrols took him for an Albanian and dumped him at Kakavijë. His desperate cries—“I’m Greek! I’m Greek!”—were ignored by the Greek soldiers all along the way.
The same unusual incident has also happened to Polish or Bulgarian citizens.
It would hardly be surprising if the Greek “fsheja” were to dump some Greek citizen or politician at Kakavijë.

Who is sending Albanian refugees back from Greece?
Why was P. Majko’s statement forgotten: “If Greece sends Albanian refugees back, relations between the PS and PASOK will fall to zero?”
The immediate answer would be another question: is Albania—or, more precisely, the Albanian government—interested in bringing back Albanians who work in Greece? Our answer is NO.
Then why does Greece send them back…? Is the reason Albania’s economic situation, given that it is acknowledged that Albania lacks the necessary conditions, while its people, its labor force, are exploited there? The fact that they are exploited because Albania cannot provide work may make sense for Greece, but Greece does not do this out of its own interest. The work of Albanian refugees benefits Greece, as long as they are needed by the Albanian economy. But their implementation is in the hands of the Greek authorities, who argue that it is not an argument. Even if only for the latest fact: they are Albanian citizens. Bashkim Zeneli and Luan Hajdaraga know this well. Both know very well that the Greek “Fsheja” is not afraid of only these people; the Greek Fsheja was operating even earlier, when it was not only among the miners. And the Greek Fsheja does not expel from Greece only Albanian refugees who have suffered the anti-communist deterioration and the March 22 movement, who, as before, will all stand against the police, and so: they do not understand that… (unclear text)
Bashkim Zeneli says that Albania is at risk of Islamic fundamentalism, and he has the right to think so even without facts, even without being right. Mage was interviewed by Greek TV (according to the place where the outlet is based); the Albanian woman thinks she has the right to point out an imaginary danger. But what does this “Albanianize” for us? Why doesn’t he “Albanianize” the essence of his own statement? By manipulating this danger, he agrees with Greek policy toward Albania, and therefore also with the return of Albanian refugees from Greece. Why doesn’t B. Zeneli accept that Albanians have social or communal homogeneity, have an Islamic coloring, and that the Greek Fsheja views this as a fundamentalist problem?
…Pandeli Majko’s realistic statement: “If Greece sends Albanian refugees back, will relations between the PS and PASOK fall to zero?” Could it be that the Albanian wing in the PS benefited, even gaining votes from a group of Euro-Balkanists? And can the old Albanian former communists, some of whom have joined the PS, accept such figures as their leader and line up alongside foreign propaganda? These former communists, because of their long collaboration with Marxist ideology—which presented all communists as aligned with the dictatorship—may have reservations about the new power, but they would never accept

Where is the capital’s kerosene going?
It seemed a few months ago that the distribution of ration coupons would create a normal climate for distributing kerosene in the capital.
But that did not happen. At the vast majority of sales outlets, kerosene disappears in the blink of an eye, and buyers continually return home with empty cans. Where does the kerosene go? The sellers shrug without giving any concrete answer. For now, even the financial police have no answer.

From the chronicles
“The barbarians, the barbarians have risen!” shouted the madwoman N. in the capital, on Tuesday, on the first day of September, in the streets of Tirana, for 15 minutes straight.
“You can recognize the barbarians! They have nothing to do with the ancient Greeks. They are savage, barbaric. Bastard barbarians. From what race do the barbarian Greeks descend? Barbarians in the uniforms of soldiers, profiteers, and officials. Greek barbarians against Albanians, against Albania.
After these explosive words, the madwoman N., accompanied by a large crowd of onlookers, stopped in the city-center square and, standing her ground, said: “Now I will speak!”—a very important open letter that Selman Ruadhi is sending to Bashkim Lilo Zeneli.
These words aroused extraordinary curiosity, and the crowd of onlookers nearly tripled.
“Selman Alaçkum, brother Bashkim. Don’t let me say that we thought. A great ‘antifundamentalist’ … that drowned me with its cause and opinion. We were demonstrating that the Albanians are fundamentalists, half of them… (faded text).
