The powerful blast destroyed almost the entire supermarket and caused damage to nearby businesses and homes. “I heard an explosion that reminded me of dynamite in a quarry,” said the owner of a business about 250 m from the center of the blast, whose windows were all shattered. A blue Fiat Regata, without license plates, was parked in the square in front of the supermarket, about 2 meters from it. According to eyewitnesses, the driver—under the pretext of buying a pack of cigarettes—stopped the car bomb about two meters from the supermarket, without the guard’s permission; the guard had asked him to move away. About 10 minutes after the driver left, the tragic explosion occurred. ........ PR calls for terrorists to be sentenced to death, regardless of the provisions of the penal code or international agreements.
