Ceka wants a debate only with Ceka
The best thing we can do for this political schizophrenic is sing a Te Deum for the character desecrated by the deceased himself
Political ethics, which apparently is still far from Neritan Ceka’s way of thinking, should have taught the latter, through his positions and statements, at least to refute the rumors that have long circulated about his political irresponsibility. But his continuous actions at home and abroad not only leave no room to think that a retraction might be forthcoming; on the contrary, besides convincing you of what we said above, they even add to the suspicions of mental irresponsibility. Since this may be the most accurate conclusion that can be drawn from the hallucinations of a politician who sees an Ibrahim behind every bush. And ... politicians with one another. Because if the Republican knows how to run as befits a moderate politician—who, among other things, was tolerant enough to know how to respect Ceka—he is precisely perverse enough to congratulate himself on this tolerance, doing nothing but evade, like an unpunished coward, a public debate that he himself had repeatedly called for (perhaps when he was convinced that everyone was as incapable of holding one as he was.)
The words and insults of this gazetarkëkuiesipër Alibalindhe party he represents are nothing other than the logical end of a man who can no longer live in politics except in the elegant costume of a servant. The “golden times” of this charismatic man ...
who sees an ibrahim behind every bush. And, worse still, he sells the fear that characterizes a logic-depleted person, who in politics has been left with nothing but the aim of cursing and insulting political opponents in the language of street thugs, the party and even journalists whom, before 26 May (when his erotic rubbing against the PS’s mercy had created the illusion that at long last he too might get a little bit of power), he threatened to put in prison; all these cowardly barbarities he peddles as pure intellectualism, just as he tries to give that name to the party of his clubs. In truth, nothing more than a bestial instinct for revenge can be said of the multitude of perversities of this failed politician, who, from his own profession as an archaeologist, has absorbed not the habit of self-restraint but the ugly legacy of prehistoricism, in which, it seems, Mr Ceka continues to live out his political and mental incapacity.
We would not want to believe in such an action, but the strange way in which this “intellectual” reacted to the outstretched hand of the Republican candidate, Alibali, shows that, apart from the coincidence of the name Neritan, nothing else connects these people. They charismatic figure, cherished by Godolet e Co, seem to have ended on those days when, posing as the hero of rallies demanding immediate elections, he poured out all the mud accumulated in his soul against the Republican Party, which, unlike Ceka’s party and the other socialists, asked in Albanian for those things that Europe and its organizations would later say in English. His human emasculation was finally sealed when, with the utmost lack of commitment, he ate his own words, thumping his chest and claiming that he and only he (perhaps with Gjirushi) had demanded precisely the same thing.
It seemed like mere adolescent snobbery, the odyssey of his statements that began in Ramiz Alia’s office. But the tangled web of “Ceka”-brand foolishness, in Strasbourg, where he sweated to show the European councillors which of the Albanian delegates had been communist, was also accompanied by the collectivization of the plan of measures, among which the lowest was the demand to “block Albania.” The best thing we can do for this political schizophrenic is sing a Te Deum for his character, but also for the “intellectualism” desecrated by the man himself.
